kqueue timer not usable

I try to use kqueue EVFILT_TIMER and found its precision is low.
I set 10 sec and it may timeout at 30-100 sec.

Is there any way to get higher precision?

The timer precision issue is related to the hz parameter in config.ini (default: 100, meaning 10ms per tick). You can increase hz to improve timer precision, e.g., hz=1000 for ~1ms precision, at the cost of higher CPU usage. Note that a similar issue was reported in #701 but a proper fix has not been merged yet. Contributions to improve EVFILT_TIMER precision are welcome.

Update: #701 and #702 should have fixed this issue, but the fix commits seem to be missing from the current branch. Will investigate further.
