Specifying devargs parameter?

Hi F-Stack,

I've been experimenting F-Stack and it works great!

I am curious how I can specify devargs per PCI device. For example, you can specify scalar_enable=1 to turn off vector mode in PMD. Is there a way to pass devargs through F-Stack?

F-Stack's config.ini supports a subset of DPDK EAL parameters:

[dpdk]
# PCI whitelist
allow=02:00.0,03:00.0

# File prefix for multi-process / container
file_prefix=myapp

# Virtual devices
nb_vdev=1
[vdev0]
path=/var/run/openvswitch/vhost-user0
queues=1

These are translated to DPDK EAL args (--allow=, --file-prefix=container-, --vdev) in lib/ff_config.c.

F-Stack does not yet support arbitrary --device devargs directly. We plan to add this feature in a future release (see #265). For now, if you need custom devargs, you can modify lib/ff_config.c to add a new config key and append it to dpdk_argv[].
