The environment can be run without a GPU, but the Gazebo simulation will run much faster (should run in real-time) with access to a GPU. Without a GPU the simulation is likely to run slower than real-time.
However, when compiling the nps_uw_multibeam_stonar package, it prompts that CUDA has not been installed, and many CUDA header files are also used in the sonar_calculation_cuda.cuh file. Can I run this code package without CUDA?
