Hello,

I filed a request in node-bluetooth to have abandonware continue maintenance.

I think node-bluetooth is very important; it is one of the very, very few libraries on NPM that supports classic Bluetooth, not just BLE. It no longer builds on the most recent versions of node because the bindings are out-of-date.

I filed a request asking the upstream maintainer what the status was.
The issue is located here: lsongdev/node-bluetooth#55

Note that this project copied the native bluetooth bindings from 'node-bluetooth-serial-port' module which may have some open issues fixed already. Although that project is no longer maintained actively.
