feature request: hot keys!!

Issue

This solve roughly 100 000 000 problems.

Enable users to define a list table of [hotkey, command] pairs. Eg:

^t > /tokens
^p > "make your you update the plan as you go and run all tests at every step"
alt-l > /run git log --graph --oneline  --format="%C(auto)%h%d %s (%cr)" -n 30

etc etc

Ok - now consider maybe allowing $VARs or {token}s

This could lean into the same set of var/tokens that the TUI might use for eg status bar templates
