Query multiple classes at once?

Is it possible to query multiple classes at once? I have a two independent custom classes I would like to search on without having to have the user select what to search. E.g. can I pass a list or array of classes to the snippet? That would be uber.

You could use the raw option.... there's no way to pass an array of classes because usually each class corresponds to a different database table. The resources are special since that table stores info for multiple tables.

I’ll look at raw. I understand the class-table relationship. My app is set up that way and why I asked. I was looking for a general search tool that could easily query multiple tables from a single kw entry. Maybe I’ll just write a wrapper snippet to call query for each class. Thx!
