Properties Pallet becoming read only

I'm reluctant to report a bug which I cannot reliably replicate, but it is what it is.

I am running Eclipse Version: 2026-06 (4.40.0) Build id: 20260604-0653 with WindowBuilder 1.25.0.202607242301 on MacOS 26

On occasion when using WindowBuilder on a Java Swing class using design mode I find that clicking on a Component to select it and then trying to edit the properties the entries seem to block editing. I'm not sure if it's a focus problem but I can resolve it by closing Eclipse and reloading it again.

I does not happen so often that it's a major problem - but it is curious and I wonder if something has changed in Eclipse or WindowBuilder.

I recall replicating a issue like this without a Mac is problematic- sorry.

The problem is that mixing Swing and SWT is just pure agony, because problems can arise from changes in WindowBuilder, in SWT, in Swing or in the UI toolkit provided by MacOS. So finding the culprit ranges from difficult to near impossible.

My guess for this problem is that some rogue Swing job is running in the background, which prevents SWT from regaining focus. If this issue happens again, can you create and upload a thread dump?
