Add .editorconfig for consistent code formatting #964

Description

@el-qq

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
The repository currently does not provide an .editorconfig file. As a result, contributors using different IDEs or editors may have different default settings for indentation, line endings, trailing whitespace, and other basic formatting rules. This can lead to unnecessary formatting-only changes in pull requests.

Describe the solution you'd like
Add a root .editorconfig file with the project's basic formatting conventions, especially for Kotlin and Gradle files
This would make formatting behavior more consistent across supported editors and IDEs and reduce unrelated changes in diffs

Describe alternatives you've considered
Relying on IDE-specific settings or contributor-local configuration, but these settings are not automatically shared across different development environments

Additional context
.editorconfig is widely supported by modern IDEs, including Android Studio and IntelliJ IDEA, and would provide a lightweight way to document and enforce basic repository-wide formatting preferences
