Hi, i do not know what category to put this in. But my boost gauge seems to be broken for some reason? You can tell from the very edges of it.

I don't know how to fix it but it makes mods such as Blue Blur Speedometer HD look broken, like this:

Does this have to do with the way the game recompiled for me?

It only breaks for me in 1080p but it looks fine in 720p and 1440p. It seems like the cast is unable to scale properly at non-integer resolutions. Can we see if it looks broken on the cast editor itself and for what reason?

720p is pixel perfect.

The 1080p one shows this discrepancy.

And it's less visible at 1440p but it's not completely erased.

This is just with UnleasHD.
My guess is that the mod (Blue Blur Speedometer HD) was made with 1440p or higher as a base?
That would mean I cannot use it tho since my computer monitor can only go up to 1080p.

Could be. The problem is these are pixel-perfect textures, so if it has a specific pattern, it might be hard to scale it to different resolutions.

We ran into some similar trouble with the grid backgrounds, but those got a specific algorithm applied to make them scale properly. I'm just thinking that is not working here entirely for some reason when it concerns the low res version, but if the texture is higher res that might be very hard to fix properly. Needs mipmaps for that!

These are linearly filtered textures, Recomp's custom shader won't be used here. I'm suspecting the positions of the casts are not pixel perfect but pixel snapping at 720p makes them look proper. It might be possible to fix this by editing the .yncp file maybe.
