Show problems for warnings (e.g. when warnings as errors is enabled)

Using MinGW/Cygwin, what is the closest I can come to get the extension highlight all the warnings errors from these flags? -Wall -Wextra -pedantic -Wconversion -Werror.
#2091 is relevant, but it doesn't answer if its possible to enable these warnings on MinGW/Cygwin gcc/g++ if it's possible at all. I'm sorry if this is a duplicate, thanks in advance.

We currently only show "errors" (i.e. stuff that won't compile). We had started working on adding "warnings" (see https://github.com/Microsoft/vscode-cpptools/pull/2379/files ), but that work is post-poned until we're able to add a setting to filter out warnings by ID. See https://github.com/Microsoft/vscode-cpptools/milestone/26 .

We haven't had time to revisit it yet. We're currently working on other features that are higher priority.
