Yes It is. I use Modrinth on Windows and Mac, including the voice chat mod.
However, vanilla doesn't have that feature and Apple's TCC doesn't allow to grant access to things such as microphones unless the app specifically requests it.
Voice chat mods are very popular now, and given the new friends list, I wouldn't be surprised to see it a native feature soon. Furthermore, Prism launcher fixed this simple issue themselves.
Describe the solution you'd like
Add a mic request feature for Mac devices. It's very simple, just a line of code and text to display underneath it. It'd take 2 minutes.
If this'd cause problems then there can be an option in settings for it, or it doesn't need to be a pop up. Many times, an app will not send a pop up but the user can see it in the system preferences when looking.
Describe alternatives you've considered
I've launched modrinth via the Terminal, and it asked for terminal access. That's a workaround.
I could write a script but it's easier to use discord.
Other launchers but Modrinth is the most user friendly and best UI
