Requesting permission after app install

Hello,

I was just wondering if there is a way to delay asking for notification permission. My app now asks for it right after installation but do you have an API for asking it when I want?

When did you call requestPermissions()? You app should ask for permissions after this function was called.

I see ... what should happen when we do not call requestPermissions()? We do not call it and it just asks right after initial launch.
