I am Jaysinh Shukla, a Software Engineer at Amazon. For more than ten years I have designed and run distributed systems in the transportation and finance industries — services that move invoices, payments, and freight data at a scale where every edge case eventually happens.
What holds my attention these days: distributed systems, engineering leadership, and generative AI. I mentor engineers, and watching them earn their next promotion is the work I am proudest of. I have spoken at conferences across India, Germany, and Taiwan, and taught Python to students at more than fifteen colleges. All of it comes from the same instinct that keeps this blog alive: learn something, then hand it to someone else.
Away from the terminal I am the father of a beautiful daughter, who is teaching me how to learn again — to look at everything from a fresh perspective.
