Why
Consensus-NLP/common#8250(commit4912e79e5) changed the MCPsearchtool so that blocked searches for the ChatGPT client return aToolResultwithis_error: trueandstructuredContent.error(plus an optional upgrade CTA) instead of raising a bareToolError. The widget reads this and shows the server message; Free and anonymous users also see an Upgrade to Pro button. Other MCP clients still receive the error in the tool result.Changes
