FLV http/https contents are not getting played in Android firefox browser

Hi,
I want to play flv content in Android browser using the following code.

<object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="player_flv.swf" width="320" height="240">
    <param name="movie" value="player_flv.swf" />
    <param name="FlashVars" value="flv=http://www.mediacollege.com/video-gallery/testclips/barsandtone.flv" />

But when I try to play,the flvcontainer itself doesnot gets loaded. However if I play local flv content,menas the one stored inside the device,then it does get played. Please help

Excuse me for answering a 10 year old question, but it acrually plays the video:

the code is <object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="player_flv.swf" width="320" height="240"> <param name="movie" value="player_flv.swf" /> <param name="FlashVars" value="movie=https://www.mediacollege.com/video-gallery/testclips/barsandtone.flv" />

tested working on win10
