  • The NOTE uses a shortcut reference link ([Purchase add-on services]) but there is no corresponding section/anchor or link definition in this file, so it will render as a broken link. Link directly to the relevant page (or add a matching section/anchor).
> Instant sandboxes issued to eligible customers with enterprise accounts starting July 2026 include add-on commerce capability, so you can purchase additional paid licenses and services including Microsoft 365 Copilot directly from within the sandbox. See [Purchase add-on services] below.

docs/microsoft-365-developer-program-get-started.md:161

  • This section says sample data packs "come pre-installed" with the instant sandbox, but earlier the dashboard steps instruct users to install sample data packs (and that the Users pack must be installed first). Please reconcile this so the guidance is consistent (for example, clarify that some data is pre-provisioned and additional packs can be installed).
## Install sample data packs

Sample data packs come pre-installed with your instant sandbox and save you time by automatically providing data and content you need to build and test your solutions. This includes fictitious users, metadata, and photos to simulate a small corporate environment. For details about the sample data packs available, see [Developer sandbox sample data](install-sample-packs.md).

docs/microsoft-365-developer-program-get-started.md:143

  • This step says users can use "the existing subdomain that you created", but earlier in this doc the instant sandbox domain is described as pre-configured. Reword to avoid implying the user created the subdomain.
5. **Personalize your sign-in and email**. You can connect your subscription to a domain, or just use the existing subdomain that you created. When ready, choose **Use this domain**, or choose **Do this later**.

6. **Add new users**. You can add fictitious or real users to help you with development. When ready, choose **Add users and assign licenses**.

7. **Assign licenses to unlicensed users**. For any users that you want to be able to work with the subscription, grant them a license. When ready, choose **Add users and assign licenses** or **Do this later**.

docs/microsoft-365-developer-program-get-started.md:59

  • Step 1 currently states that Instant sandbox (Add-on purchases enabled) is the default option for everyone, but the NOTE above says add-on commerce is only for eligible enterprise accounts. This can mislead readers who don’t see that option in the UI.

This issue also appears on line 139 of the same file.

1. On your profile page, choose **Set up E5 subscription**.

2. In the setup dialog box, select **Instant sandbox (Add-on purchases enabled)** — this is the default, top option.

3. Choose **Next** to continue to the billing setup screen.

docs/microsoft-365-developer-program-get-started.md:188

  • Grammar: "the billing profile with invoice section" is missing an article and reads awkwardly. Rephrase to clearly indicate both items must exist.
Once you have completed the agreement-signing flow and the **billing profile** with invoice section has been created, retry the operation. If you continue to experience issues, please share a screenshot of the billing account page and the error message with the correlation ID so we can investigate further.

Add 5 setup flow screenshots extracted from source document:
- sandbox-type-selection.png (Step 1)
- billing-details-screen.png (Step 2)
- create-billing-account.png (Step 2 wizard)
- admin-credentials.png (Step 3)
- dashboard-active-subscription.png (Step 4)

Update FAQ with new billing/commerce section and grammar fixes.
