OAL "Adding an algorithm" experience and derived tasks #212

Description

@bn12

Just my experiences and how we can possibly improve the process of adding an algorithm to OAL

  • add a like to the google form to the OAL Readme and make the corresponding part "How to add..." more visible place before other libraries?
  • add the above link to the OAL website as well (not only in the overview; this possibly holds for other libraries as well?)
  • what to provide in case I don't have an own implementation of the alg. available, published. The link is required, though.
  • in the case above, I can add a link to an implementation in some publicly available library (i.e. pymoo) but I possibly don't know all the details of this library, e.g. Input Variable Support, Number of Input variables, Number of evaluations supported etc. How to answer these (all required)
  • some inconsistencies in the capitalisation of words in the subtitles
  • ...

I have the feeling that only the author of a specific implementation can answer all the questions from the form while the original developer of an algorithm (possibly years ago) or the one who only published the idea, can not. Is there a way to handle this? ATM I have no idea :(
