PHP-EXT

Repository which builds images from official PHP-FPM images with some popular extensions and pushes results to Github and Dockerhub.

The main idea is to provide such PHP images that could be close to official builds and could be used as is when running popular fromeworks like Sympfony or Laravel.

Images could be found at

• docker.io/besogon1/php
• ghcr.io/bagermen/php

Images could be verified by GitHub CLI:

gh at verify oci://docker.io/besogon1/php --owner bagermen
gh at verify oci://ghcr.io/bagermen/php --owner bagermen

Image tags

Each published image is tagged like the official PHP image, plus an -ext suffix:

• patch (immutable): 8.2.33-fpm-alpine-ext
• minor (floating): 8.2-fpm-alpine-ext — moves when a newer patch in that line is published
• major (floating): 8-fpm-alpine-ext — moves when a newer 8.x with the same OS/postfix is published
• latest — alpine only, when the image is the newest overall

The same pattern applies to other OS variants (bookworm, trixie, bullseye).
