Write Complete Content for the “Responsiveness” Module #116

This task involves writing the full educational content for the entire Responsiveness module of the CSS Tutorial.
The goal is to create clear, modern, and beginner-friendly MDX files with explanations, examples, diagrams, and working demo code.

What This Module Should Cover

1️⃣ media-queries.mdx (Media Queries)

  • What media queries are & why they're essential in responsive design
  • Syntax: @media, breakpoints, logical operators (and, not, only)
  • Mobile-first vs desktop-first workflow
  • Common breakpoints
  • Real-world examples (navbar, grid layout, cards)
  • Suggested diagrams for viewport breakpoints

2️⃣ container-queries.mdx (Container Queries)

  • What container queries solve vs media queries
  • Syntax: @container, container-type, container-name
  • Responsive components independent of viewport
  • Examples: responsive cards, sidebar, widgets
  • Best practices & browser support notes
  • Helpful visuals showing parent → child relationships

3️⃣ responsive-images.mdx (Responsive Images)

  • Why responsive images matter (performance & UX)
  • srcset, sizes, and picture element
  • art direction vs resolution switching
  • Practical examples for mobile/desktop images
  • Demo: responsive hero banner
  • Diagram idea: how browser chooses best image

4️⃣ responsive-typography.mdx (Flexible Typography)

  • Problems with fixed font sizes
  • Techniques:
    • clamp()
    • viewport units (vw, vmin)
    • CSS variables
  • Example: fluid heading system
  • Notes on readability & accessibility
  • Visual example of scaling text across screens

5️⃣ fluid-layouts.mdx (Fluid & Adaptive Layouts)

  • Introduction to fluid layouts
  • Percentages, flex, grid, minmax(), fr units
  • Using clamp() for widths
  • Building fluid card layouts, containers, and sections
  • Best practices & common patterns
  • Simple diagrams showing fluid resizing

📌 Requirements (Same as Main Issue #78)

  1. Write clear and easy-to-understand explanations.
  2. Include working code snippets for every concept.
  3. Provide small HTML/CSS demo files inside a code folder.
  4. Suggest diagrams where useful.
  5. Maintain smooth progression between topics.
  6. Emphasize modern responsive CSS techniques (container queries, clamp, fluid grids).

📦 Deliverables

  • Fully written MDX files for all five responsiveness topics.
