Checked each js-yaml 5.3.0 breaking change against the source: the removed MERGE_KEY export, the now-mandatory identify for custom tag definitions, the stricter << merge-key validation, and the deprecated flat constant exports. None apply here — this repo defines no custom tags and uses only yaml.load, yaml.dump and yaml.YAMLException. The uuid patch fixes v1 and v7 generation, and we only use v4. Full suite passed (212 success, 0 failures), including the bundled lib/ rebuild.
