The example test server now reads
VITEPRESS_BASE, so Pages verification works when the repository name changes. Browser checks also use each HTML import map as the dependency-version source, and the minimal starter exposes dependency failure through its readiness state.CI rejects focused tests and checkout steps do not persist credentials. The docs and examples explicitly use an inline empty favicon to avoid requests to the host-root favicon that does not exist on GitHub Pages. This follow-up addresses the verified review feedback on #1 and the publication smoke check.
Validation: documentation build and consistency check, changed-file ESLint, all 20 browser tests, and a targeted preview run with an alternate deployment base.
