The version in gradle.properties stays a snapshot for the whole cycle and the release type follows from it: the suffix is dropped for `-alpha` and the upload is marked alpha on both platforms, where a version without one publishes as a release. The changelog tag follows the same name, so the tag, the changelog heading and the uploaded version all agree. Superseded: the v1.0.0-alpha tag it was generated for no longer exists - Archie is versioned 0.1.0 to line up with Boilerplate's first release, and v0.1.0-alpha replaces it. |
