P4a 2026 - severall problems about installation

Hello
i tried to install p4a last version 2026 in a VMware ubuntu 22.04 and 26.04

NDK tried ndk 28c as recommanded and later 29 and 25c
SDK : latest
i use python-for-android not buildozer, i installed all previous p4a versions like that

compile apk p4a 2026 crashed in all cases with major errors
error messages : no version pyjnius 1.7.0 found , no module android found, no module cython

That'all so far.

@pakheper Please share full log, errors that are you describing are not errors but just warnings (yes labeled wrong).

Here is a compile log with targetsdk =30 (same error with targetsdk = 27)

context : Vmware ubuntu 26.0 (same result with ubuntu 22.04)
i installed p4a with pip install , i had similar result with the branch version

@pakheper Ensure you have Cython>=0.29,<3.1 in your system.

Then retry, also do post full command used.

Something is broken in build, cython is provided by hostpython3, which is missing, but android has hostpython_prerequisites = ["Cython>=0.29,<3.1"] -- so should have been installed before building android. But it's not. So could you clean build with P4A_FULL_DEBUG=1 and then share logs?
