What it is: a local-first CLI and TUI coding assistant. It runs open-weight models entirely on your machine through a llama.cpp fork, so no account or API key is required to install or run it. It ships 56 built-in tools (browser, filesystem, git, memory, vision), supports MCP, and has a five-layer local memory system. The TUI is built on React and ink. Works on macOS, Linux and Windows.

Honest notes:

• Our README carries an official notice: "Developer preview. APIs, commands, config, and behavior are still moving." I put a short "Developer preview." clause at the end of the row so readers know what they are getting. Happy to drop it if you would rather keep rows shorter.
• The project is about 4 months old, but it is active and maintained (MIT, ~2k stars) by the AtomicBot-ai organization.
• Not to be confused with BrainBlend-AI/atomic-agents ("Atomic Agents"), a different and larger project with a similar name. Ours is AtomicBot-ai/atomic-agent. If you would prefer a clearer label in the row, I am glad to rename it to "Atomic Agent (AtomicBot)".
