The release exists in xim-pkgindex and installs (verified: `xlings install mcpp@2026.7.31.1` into an isolated workspace, then that binary builds and runs a `standard = "c++20"` project with `import std;` — __cplusplus=202002). Bumped after the fact, as the pin names the version bootstrapped FROM.
