Previous Behavior

The headless Storybook documented installation, styling, accessibility, browser support, and component usage, but it did not explain that headless components are founded on Fluent UI v9 base state hooks or how hooks, renderers, context, and state attributes fit together.

New Behavior

  • Adds an Overview/Architecture page describing the shared v9 base-hook foundation and where the styled and headless paths diverge.
  • Documents the Button and compound-component composition flows, the data-* styling contract, and when to use primitives versus hook/render APIs.
  • Links the architecture page from Introduction and Getting Started and places it in the Overview sidebar order.
  • Includes the architecture content in the generated LLM documentation.

Validation

  • yarn nx run public-docsite-v9-headless:build-storybook
