Summary

Bump golang.org/x/crypto from v0.32.0 to v0.56.0 (latest upstream), update
golang.org/x/oauth2 from v0.25.0 to v0.36.0 (fixes CVE-2025-22868), update
the go directive from go 1.22.8 to go 1.26.0 (toolchain go1.26.7), and
update CI builder images to rhel-9-golang-1.26-openshift-5.0.

    addresses CVE-2025-22869, CVE-2025-47913, CVE-2026-46597, CVE-2026-39829,
    CVE-2026-39832
  • golang.org/x/oauth2 v0.36.0 — fixes CVE-2025-22868 (DoS via malformed
    JWS token, fixed in v0.27.0)
  • go directive — bumped from go 1.22.8 to go 1.26.0 to match the ART
    builder image (rhel-9-golang-1.26-openshift-5.0)
  • CI builder images — updated .ci-operator.yaml and Dockerfile.rhel8 to
    use rhel-9-golang-1.26-openshift-5.0 builder and ocp/5.0:base-rhel9
  • go vet fixes — fixed non-constant format strings in daemonless_test.go
    and source.go (stricter printf analysis activated by the go directive bump)
  • Test improvements — rewrote TestRandomBuildTag, TestRandomBuildTagNoDupes,
    and TestContainerName to use format/structure assertions instead of hardcoded
    random values (more robust across Go version bumps)
  • Transitive dependency upgrades: x/net, x/sys, x/text, x/sync, x/mod, x/term
  • go build ./... and go test ./pkg/build/builder/... verified successfully
