Plot composition

Somewhere on our mental to-do list, but not posted as an issue yet.
Specifically this issue is about patchwork-like plot composition combining multiple separate plots.
I believe hephaestus already has some capabilities along these lines.

Yes, this is purely a syntax issue as Hephaestus has full compositional support (the facet features already uses this)

Just posting my current thoughts on syntax: Use a CTE like framing

WITH 
plot1 AS (
  VISUALISE ...
),
plot2 AS (
  VISUALISE ...
)
COMPOSE plot1 | plot2

I'm somewhat torn on whether we should adopt the patchwork operator syntax or rather use a more formal way to define the layout (or both which patchwork also allows)
